Hello Stranger!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I plan to make it a cozy corner. I’ve embraced the Danish concept of hygge throughout 2020, and I’m going to stick with the theme.

I thought I’d start at the beginning of my mini project, MKELoveLetter. In 2013 I came across @NYCloveletters and thought, “that’s a lovely idea!” I subconsciously stored the idea in my brain card catalog. In 2015, I needed a spark in my life and pulled out the card. I put my spin on the concept by tying together my love of quotes and collage art. My dog, Emma, enjoys walks so we go on epic strolls around Milwaukee. As we stroll past Little Free Libraries and as I feed my caffeine addiction at coffee shops around town, I leave a trail of letters for strangers to find.

Five years and 550 letters later I decided to breathe new life into it.

What I dream of for this site… share what I love. This will include lists of quotes. (shocker) I also want to share lists of books, music, hidden gems I’ve found around Milwaukee, things that inspire me… stay tuned to find out what this entails.
